A stranger

by: Anggun
Album: Echoes (2011)

looking in the mirror
i’m a stranger
to this land and air
belong to elsewhere

years have passed me by
and harder to deny
what’s missing from my eyes

the path i’m drawn into
behind this ocean blue
made my heart torn in two

reff:
looking in the mirror i’m a stranger
to this land and air belong to elsewhere
feeling more than ever like a stranger
unknown to this land this heart in my hands

with a dream to fulfill
i will not stop until
it’s alive and it’s real

and running through my veins
a love that heals the pain
forever on the mend

repeat reff [2x]

to this land and air belong to elsewhere
belong to elsewhere

Aeosop's Fable #3 - The Wolf and The Crane

A Wolf had been gorging on an animal he had killed, when suddenly a small bone in the meat stuck in his throat and he could not swallow it. He soon felt terrible pain in his throat, and ran up and down groaning and groaning and seeking for something to relieve the pain. He tried to induce every one he met to remove the bone. ‘I would give anything,’ said he, ‘if you would take it out.’ At last the Crane agreed to try, and told the Wolf to lie on his side and open his jaws as wide as he could. Then the Crane put its long neck down the Wolf’s throat, and with its beak loosened the bone, till at last it got it out.

‘Will you kindly give me the reward you promised?’ said the Crane.

The Wolf grinned and showed his teeth and said: ‘Be content. You have put your head inside a Wolf’s mouth and taken it out again in safety; that ought to be reward enough for you.’

Gratitude and greed go not together.

Lying on my back
In the vast expanse of autumnal meadow
Watching the orange dusk
Adorned with lazy clouds follow

Musing on the flash of back times
Recognizing multitude of mundane wishes
Achievable sometimes
Yet some are inescapably out of reaches
Consider myself a lifetime learner
Hitherto lead a small life yet valuable
Trying my best even for something minor
Always keeping in mind that nothing is impossible

Now pursuing one of my big projects in life
Consciously realize of its winding long road
With a certain vision much alive
Hoping of roaming the globe, aboard

all is full of love

by Bjork

You'll be given love
You'll be taken care of
You'll be given love
You have to trust it

Maybe not from the sources
You have poured yours
Maybe not from the directions
You are staring at

Twist your head around
It's all around you
All is full of love
All around you

All is full of love
You just ain't receiving
All is full of love
Your phone is off the hook
All is full of love
Your doors are all shut
All is full of love

All is full of love
