Salatiga Tempoe Doeloe

My little town will reaches it 1260 years of age on July 24 this year. As usual, there will be lots of events, competitions, and activities to celebrate the anniversary, especially held by the municipal government. One of it was an photograph exhibition of "Salatiga Tempoe Doeloe" (or Salatiga in Old Times).

The title itself  (Tempoe Doeloe) used Indonesian old spelling.  This event was held by Salatiga Local Public Library in cooperation with Rinto Suarwo Photography. This two-days exhibition displayed bunch of old pictures which being kept by the library; photo competition, and a workshop for studying basic photography.

All photographs, of course, still in black-white forms. And, we're surprised by the fact that we don't know most of the old places and buildings where they've been changed, renovated, or even smashed.
